Paige at a Glance: We are thrilled to welcome the newest addition to the Glance family, Paige Reeder! Paige comes to Glance with a quick wit, a wealth of knowledge, and a fantastic attitude! The John Fluevog Shoes kind of attitude! Her passion for yoga is second only to her love of Optics and fashion. Lisa is accustomed to training her opticians, but with Paige’s 30+ years of experience, she may teach Lisa a thing or two! There is not much about Optics she doesn’t know, but more importantly, she knows how to deliver the Glance Experience. We think you’ll like her!
On her First Pair of Glasses: My first glasses were an exact replica of my mom’s glasses, just smaller! She was an optician for an optometrist in Denver, Colorado. One of the collections they carried had Mother and Daughter frames. I couldn’t have been more proud of my new glasses and can say, with confidence, that my career in optics began at 7 years old!
On Finding the Perfect Eyewear: I love the challenge presented in finding the perfect glasses for each individual. This, to me, is a process that involves getting to know each client – physical characteristics such as skin tone, face shape, etc., but also personality, vocation, wardrobe and preference. At first glance, the appropriate proportions become apparent. From that moment forward, the process becomes focused on shape and color – the fun stuff! I especially love suggesting eyewear that is adventurous and fun – the type of eyewear that becomes a personal statement.
On Laughter: How dull our lives would be without laughter! One of my favorite traits in a person is a great sense of humor – say something funny and I will laugh, from the belly, loudly and with complete joy!
On Dogs: I love, love, love dogs! All dogs – big, small, black, white, brown, red – they’re a gift that never stops giving. That type of unconditional love is everything! My favorite pet, Willy, was a Shiba Inu who blessed us with puppy love for 23 years. He will never be forgotten.
