Meet Dr. Sadaf Sabahi
Dr. Sadaf Sabahi is a native Oregonian. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University Oregon.
Dr. Sabahi knew from a young age that she wanted a career built around helping people feel confident in how they see and how they look. That passion carried her through her education and into a career centered on eyewear and personalized style.
That passion for people, combined with her love of fashion and design, ultimately led her to GLANCE. She acquired GLANCE because she believes eyewear is so much more than a tool for vision, it is one of the most powerful accessories you can own. The right pair of glasses can completely transform a wardrobe, elevate a look, and become an unmistakable part of your personal style.
Her passion for eyewear extends far beyond the boutique. Whenever she travels, Dr. Sabahi makes a point of visiting optical shops wherever she goes, exploring collections, discovering emerging designers, and paying close attention to what is happening in eyewear and fashion around the world. These experiences inspire her curation and help ensure that GLANCE remains fresh, relevant, and connected to the global world of eyewear.
As the owner of Glance Glasses, Dr. Sabahi brings together her eyewear expertise and appreciation for fashion, creating an experience where exceptional craftsmanship and exceptional style come together.
Outside of work, Dr. Sabahi loves staying active year-round. She enjoys snowboarding, golfing, pickleball, and taking day-trip adventures throughout the Pacific Northwest. She is also an avid traveler who loves discovering remote and off-the-beaten-path places around the world.
When she's not exploring or staying active, Dr. Sabahi enjoys spending time with her husband, Amit, and their two beloved dogs, Lola and Henry, a teacup poodle and Maltese. Dr. Sabahi is also fluent in Farsi.

Les
Les has been an optician since 2009 and loves working with people. With a keen eye for detail and a perfectionist at heart, he takes pride in doing his best and making sure every patient has a great eyewear experience.
He is passionate about helping people find the right eyewear and brings the same attention to detail to everything he does.
Outside of Glance, Les is passionate about Harley-Davidsons and enjoys taking time off with his motorcycle club to do Harley-Davidson summer runs. He's also a proud dog dad to two dogs.
James
James has been an optician since 2011 and has worked alongside Dr. Sabahi since 2021. A true eyewear enthusiast, he is passionate about independent brands, innovative lens technology, and finding the perfect balance of color and shape for each person's features and personality.
A self-described perfectionist, James believes eyewear should feel both personal and effortless. He truly lives in color—known for his perfectly coordinated, colorful outfits and ever-changing hair color.
Outside of Glance, James enjoys experimenting with new recipes and spending time with his Chowinie, Maggie.
Sarah
Sarah has been our Patient Care Coordinator since 2022, bringing a genuinely caring and thoughtful approach to both Glance and Modern Eye Care. From scheduling and insurance questions to the everyday details behind the scenes, she loves making sure every patient feels welcomed and well cared for.
A natural problem-solver, Sarah believes that a smooth, organized experience can make all the difference. Her attention to detail and genuine care make her an essential part of our team.
Outside of work, Sarah loves visiting the Oregon Coast, caring for her many plants, and cozying up with a Tolkien book and a good cup of coffee. She also shares her home with her husband and two orange cats, Jasper and Pippin.
At Glance Glasses, we welcome walk-ins, and an appointment is recommended to ensure we give our patients our undivided attention in selecting the perfect frame, with considerations of their prescription and aesthetic goals. We sell premium quality frames and lenses that are warranted by us for 24 months from the date of purchase.
